In the future, nobody will buy printed newspaper or books because they will be able to read everything they want online without paying.
To what extent do you agree or disagre with this statement?
Task
Some people believe that printed books will soon be replaced by free online reading. As fas as I am concerned, I completely disagree with this view.
On the one hand, I agree that electronic books do not only help economizing but also bring about many advantages. To begin with, traditional libraries and bookstores contain an enormous number of books, that means the task of finding the correct books must be difficult and time-consuming. However, we can read them as soon as searching their names through internet. Moreover, replacing physical books with electronic ones may contribute to reduce the burden put on our environment. Traditional printed books are made from trees, which play vital roles in supporting daily life such as giving off oxygen, reducing erosion and pollution,…therefore, the less physical books are produced, the healthier environment seems to be.
On the other hand, I would argue that these benefits are outweighed by the drawbacks.
The main reason is that the internet is an open source of data, so anyone can upload anything without authentication. Thus, the electronic books or newspaper may provide incorrect information as well as irrelevant content, this would lead to the downgrade in our knowledge or even negative impacts on society. Besides, apart from the chance of online free reading, the internet also supports many forms of entertainment including online games, movies, social networks,… These leisure activities may distract us from the main purpose of reading books, gaining more knowledge. Moreover, the internet users would suffer some health issues and social problems as result of using electronic devices for a long time.
In conclusion, there are good reasons why people prefer reading online newspaper or books, but from my personal perspectives, the role of traditional printed books can never be replaced. (294 words)

Thank for your comment.
The main problem with your essay is that you did not read the topic carefully, so you did not answer the question. You also contradicted your opinion in the first paragraph. And you contradicted your opinion in the last paragraph.
This essay is not an "advantages / disadvantages " essay. You must write the correct essay type. This is an "agree / disagree" essay type. In an "agree / disagree" essay, the two body paragraphs must give reasons for your choice (agree or disagree).
This essay does not ask "what are the advantages and disadvantages of electronic books." But that is the task that you answered. If you do not answer the right question, you will not get a good score.
In your first paragraph, you did not give an argument why electronic books will not replace printed books. If you argue against your position, you will lose a lot of points. Also, your points are not well-developed. Do not just write individual arguments. Pick the two best ones and support them well with examples and justification.

TASK
Many people claim that in the coming time, printed books or newspapers will not be purchased because online reading materials are available for everyone. While I agree that electronic books contribute to save money, I would argue that printed books will always remain irreplaceable place in our life.
To begin with, saying that people can read anything online without paying is fallacious. In fact, there are some websites that allow people to read their contents freely. However, most websites only give full access to their premium contents to subcribers who paid for demanded fee, while non-subcribers are limtied to small range of articles. For example, those websites allow people to read first chapters of the online books, then people who want to read or download the books entirely must spend money.
Furthermore, there are many reasons why electronic books or newspapers can not replace traditional printed books. The main reason is that the internet is an open source of data, so anyone can upload anything without editing or approval. Thus, the electronic books or newspapers may provide incorrect information as well as irrelevant content, which would lead to the misunderstaing in our knowledge or even negative impacts on society. Moreover, some people prefer to buy books and magazines because they find it more comfortable and less distracting to read physical books rather than on electronic devices. This is due to the fact that traditional books or news are a great way to relax and get away from the distraction mobile devices bring.
In conclusion, online reading may give people the chance of approaching electronic books or newspapers without any cost. However, from my personal perspectives, the role of traditional printed books can never be replaced.(285 words)

Thank you for your feedbacks, you helped me a lot.
Many people claim that purchasing printed material will no longer be popular with time as people will have easy and free access to online reading sources. I completely agree to the above statement and this essay will explain my reasons in detail.
For centuries, people have enjoyed exploring libraries in search of variety of books, However, in today’s world time management is utterly important. Online access to reading has played vital part in providing feasibility, saving time and cost for people. For example, if someone wants to look for mystery novels; they can promptly search on Google and find thousands of websites providing free access to books written by different authors.
Secondly, with rising inflation its difficult to purchase printed material. People spend most of their money on basic needs and rest go into savings. But there are many people who love to read and its part of their life. For them, online availability of books brings a lot of ease. They have access to the books they want to read and still be able to save money. Due to rising e-reading trend, for last 2-3 years book exhibitions have been reduced as people have stopped purchasing printed material and are drawn towards online reading websites.
Despite above reasons, there are many people who still enjoy buying original copies and value experience of reading through paper. But it has markedly reduced over the last few decades since the introduction of paper-less world. Authors are also looking forward to posting their written work online to work environmentally friendly.
In conclusion, I agree that people in future will completely switch towards online reading material instead of traditional reading. It will not only save the money but saves time and provide feasibility.
