is "in memory of our meeting" a good formula for an inscriptionj on a book?

I have the feeling that it sounds bad :-(

Thank you

It does sound bad. 'In memory of' is used for somebody who's dead.

Consider 'A memento of our meeting'.

Thanks for telling me this!

Should I write: "Accept it as a memento of our meeting"?

"Please accept it/this book as a memento of our meeting."

Thank you very much!
