Is this sentence correct:

"In this time of the novel corona-virus, they are looking for alternatives to in-person schooling, to mke sure that the academic year is fulfilled."

Note: By 'in-person schooling', I mean alternatives to going to school, since all the schools are being closed because of this pandemic.

"Because of the coronavirus outbreak/pandemic, the authorities (in many countries) are looking at alternatives such as online classes to minimize the disruption to the academic year".

Also, do you know the difference between "look for", "look to" and "look at", all of which are possible in the above context?
