Hi Pri,

Welcome to the Forum.

I am from Portugal, and some days ago I received a letter from Germany. The Letter end with ***. I know that *** means kisses, but I really want to know if the English speakers use the x's for friends, family or only for loved ones (like girlfriend or boyfriend). Some people use XXX more easily and often than other people. It's used for good friends and family, as well as for loved ones.

If a boy writes to a girl with XXX, or vice-versa, it's an encouraging sign.

Best wishes, Clive
Txs Clive. Now I know what he meant. He is a boy, so this was i sign of encouragement.
