I came upon this site some time ago, and "rediscovered it this afternoon." It's a compilation of recordings of English speakers from all over the globe. I have a fascination with accents, so I found it extremely interesting and wanted to share it.

Hi Sarah,
that sure is a cool website! I found out that website some time ago, I wanted to listen to some different accents. There are also some Italian accents (Italians who speak English), they are funny, hahaha. Emotion: stick out tongue
Notice most of Italians have no idea that "six" isn't pronounced like "seeks", for example. There are many other features in "Italian-English", but I think that one is extremely widespread. I don't know of any Italians around here who don't pronounce "is" like "ease"... Emotion: smile
What a great site! Thanks so much for the tip, Sarah! Ann

Wow! That's a great website, thanks for sharing it. Turkish ones were funny.. If I were the one who read it, people would have surprised... Emotion: wink
