To help resolve the current environmental issues, austerity policies should be imposed on all countries without discrimination, and perhaps this should be accompanied with economic aid to poorer countries to help solve a more than likely disagreement that may come about with its proposal. However, there is no sign that such project will ever be carried-out, not even a considerable effort toward this, given the current political environment our representatives must cope with daily. It is not of light importance to the welfare of future generations, and perhaps even to our survival, it is crucial that such a development be made toward a greener future. There is not a single person who can ignore the importance the environment has, from the most careless of individual to the most caring, and for that very reason we must all strive toward protecting it, I argue. For those who are careless, scarcely could they have known ill from pollution if they do not simply lack empathy, be it physical or moral; and as for the latter, they probably do not lack in either of these, be it empathy or knowledge; for that, by their opposition they lie at the opposite ends of the spectrum; however may that be, both know the importance of the safeguard of the environment and both therefore should not be exempt to contributing as much as they reasonably can. We all must practice austerity; for instance, electricity must be considered as a luxury, against to great indulgence in which everyone should be warned.
Hi,
Again, my first reaction is to wonder if you can say this in a simpler way. I don't want to work as hard as I would have to if I read this in detail.

Wow. I have to agree with Clive. The text is very confusing and seems to talk in circles. Perhaps a revision first?

Passages such as this would have the good folk at the Plain English Campaign tearing their hair out in frustration ; it's a peculiar, unnecessarily complex, unnatural type of English, that, unfortunately, I believe, sets a bad example to learners of the language . Moreover, there are a number of grammatical infelicities and errors here, included amongst which are these:

no sign that such a project will ever be carried-out carried out

the most careless uncaring of individuals

could they have known illness from pollution

they probably do not lack in either of these [or are probably not lacking in either of these]

of the safeguard of safeguarding the environment

against to great indulgence in which

Please accept my apologies, if this reply comes across as a rather unforgiving response to the post (in this, the season of goodwill too ), but the reactions of the native speakers who have responded to this particular passage probably tell their own story.

Happy New Year, all the same ....
Wow, thank you. I think I am getting better at writing. I think I did the first mistake like a million of time though. I think I won't make it again. Are there any other error though?

Just suggestions.

Wholegrain,

You've been told many times that writing more simply would improve your writing.

Can you write astonishingly complex and basically grammatical sentences? Yes. Should you? NO! A thousand times, NO! One of the reasons that "academic writing" is so poorly regarding is because it's too hard on the reader.

I promise, I won't make this comment again. I've made it at least 3 times, and you've ignored it every time, so I won't waste my breath, or my fingers, again. But I urge you to think about it now that you've heard it from many other people besides me.
