Hi,

Suppose that I want to say that this forest is place where thousands of animals live in. Which one of following sentences is correct.

This forest is home to thousands of animals.

This forest is home for thousands of animals.

Are there any difference between two sentence above.

They really make me confused. Could you help me.

Thank you very much.

Both sentences are OK, and they mean pretty much the same thing.

To me, "to" feels slightly more impassive.

Yes, you're right. (There also needs to be an article before "place".)

"This forest is a place where thousands of animals live."

"This forest is a place that/which thousands of animals live in."

"This forest is a place in which thousands of animals live."
