Will this decision help women that wear hijab forcibly?

I've remembered the day which I make my decision about my headscarf, with this question.

My teachers said, "you should take off your scarf, or you must leave the school. If your father pressurizes you about wearing headscarf, we will talk with him."

It was ridiculous. My religion says that "I" am responsible from my behaviours and decisions after puberty. And I've made all of my decisions after puberty. My father said, "You may wear or take off the headscarf. You know, it is your decision. I respect your decisions every time. But, if you want to learn my opinion: I'll support you, and struggle to provide you a good education if you decide to leave the school instead of taking your headscarf off."

And, actually he's supported me every time.

I don't really see what the big deal is. What's so wrong with having a dress code? Someone mentioned something about it being OK for girls to be in their bikinis; well, at school, it's not!

I personally cannot see that a head scarf should be offensive to anyone. However in many places any symbolism of a particular faith is not allowed. I believe this is so in America regarding crucifixes and prayers. I suppose this is to be considerate towards all religions.

Why wear hajib at all in a western country?

It is possible for a Muslim woman to dress modestly and wear a loosely wrapped headscarf. That way she is both fulfilling the requirements of her religion, and dressing in a manner which is sensitive to the local culture.
Frankly I'm a bit disturbed by the banning of headscarves in France.

I firmly believe that Religion should be separated from State in terms of governmental policy and legislature. I also believe that school uniforms are a fundamentally good idea. However, There is no reason why something as modest and simple as a headscarf could not be accomodated within that school uniform, as an option.

It is an important religious and cultural emblem to some people and cannot reasonably be said to offend anyone, so why should it be banned?

The same holds true for crucifixes and turbans.

What is lacking in the media debate is common sense. If people started coming to school wearing full-blown monk's Habbits for instance, that would be another matter. But whats obtrusive about cloth head-gear?
It seems to me that you do not know the basics of Buddhism klatifz. Buddha is not a god. He is a supreme being who reached Nirvana (Nibbana) through meditation. Buddha is not is name. Buddha means "the enlightened one." The Buddha's actual name was Siddhartha Guatoma.

Yes, it's when they reach puberty. Though recent girls usually reach puberty as soon as they are 9.
