Hi,

Sweet dishes are mostly served at the end of meal. Is Russian salad (or other salads of this kind) a sweet dish and should it also be served at the end of meal?

Best wishes, Jackson
I just know we usually eat sweet dishes in the end of meal in China..hehe ..
Sorry, it's an unintentional mistake. I shouldn't have posted this question here in General English Grammar Questions section. Please move this posting to some other section such as Topic of the Moment.

Here's a recipe for it: http://www.myhouseandgarden.com/recipes/Russian_Salad.htm

No, it is not a sweet dish.

I think any salad could be an appetizer, or entree,or side dish. Those are usually served before main course.Emotion: big smile

I love russian salad!
Russian Salad is always served in my county and we usually eat it before the main course. As far as I know it's not a sweet dish!! But yeah we eat something sweet after a heavy meal (that adds insult to injury I believe Emotion: smile)
