I think you perhaps mean this.

When I wear morning dress, people look at me and see a fine-looking man.

In modern times, morning dress is old--fashioned and only worn by rich people on special occsions.

It still is seen sometimes at fancy weddings.

Why old textbooks? Anyway I never conversed with anybody in any language. Im isolated. The books I read are not any related to an every-day conversation.

Morning dress is so old-fashioned. A modern English text-book is highly unlikely to mention it.

In my experience, the goal of most people learning English is to be able to have a conversation with a native English speaker.

I made it up.
