It is of our duty to aspire to start where others have stopped in the development process.

It is our duty to aspire to start where others have stopped in the development process.

It is of our duties to aspire to start where others have stopped in the development process.

I think all three are corrects, except they have different meanings.

In the first, duty comprises many acts.
In the second, duty is the act in question.
In the third, each duty may comprise a single act.

It is part of our duty/part of our duties 0R one of our duties - otherwise it does not make sense. Without that I see nothing in the sentences to say that there are many acts or a single act.
Yeah, now that I think of it. I think you are right. So, the sentences are all fine?

Thank you.
Students: Are you brave enough to let our tutors analyse your pronunciation?
No, you need to delete the "of" with the singular duty, and/or you need to say "one of our duties" or "part of our duties" for the plural duties.
So Feebs is wrong?
That is exactly what Feebs wrote too.
Site Hint: Check out our list of pronunciation videos.
You said you have to remove the "of" in "of our duty".
It is our duty.

It is one of our duties

It is part of our duties.

I forgot "It is part of our duty"
I am confused, because in French we say "c'est de notre devoir..."
