Hi,

Please help me write correctly when I am dealing with the sentences that need to have phrases like kind of and kinds of.

What kind of clothes do you like?

What kinds of clothes do you like?

What kind of bicycle do you want to have?

What kinds of bicycles do you have in stock?

Welkins2139kind is singular.

kinds is plural.

I am not sure the first sentence is correct because the word " clothes" is plural and "kind" is singular.

The rest is fine.
Because of the proximity in meaning of 'clothes' and 'clothing', I think it is permissible.
