Hi

Could you please tell me which of the following versions is more natural?

I waited for her till late night yesterday.

I waited for her till late at night yesterday.

and

I generally work till late night.

I generally work till late at night.

Does any version sound wrong?

Thanks,

Tom

We generally don't use 'night' and 'yesterday' together: I waited for her till late last night.

I generally work till late at night.

Thanks Philip and CJ.

What about this sentence? Does it sound wrong without at?

She generally works till late night.

Thanks,

Tom

She generally works till late night.
Yes. It sounds wrong to me. You want till late at night.

But you can also say it like this:

She generally works late into the night.
