You have just spent a week with a friend on holiday. When you got home, you realized that you left you wallet there.

Write a letter to your friend. In your letter:

  • Thank you friend for the holiday
  • Explain that you left your wallet in their house
  • Give them instructions of how to send it back to you

Dear Chris,

I hope this letter finds you in good health. I'm writing this letter to let you know that I've reached Sydney safely. Staying with you for a week in Melbourne was a great experience. However, since I was in hurry, I left my wallet at your home.

First of all, I want to thank you profusely for the amazing holidays. I truly enjoyed with you; your hospitality was outstanding, especially the behavior of your parents and wife.

But, as I was hurried to catch my flight, I had forgotten my wallet at your bed's side table. It is of black color with a white stripe. Although it is unbranded, it looks like a pure leather wallet. It contained around USD 2,000, two credit cards and some business cards.

Can you do me a favor? One of my cousins who lives near your house is coming to Sydney on next Monday. Please give my wallet to him as I've already informed him about the situation.

Take care and write back soon.

By the way, I was in a hurry to catch my flight, and left my wallet at your bed's side table. The wallet is black with a white stripe, unbranded, looks like a genuine leather one. It contains around USD 2,000, two credit cards and some business cards.

[ 1]: Use one (not two) blank lines to separate your paragraphs.

[ 2]: You can omit the second “this letter”.

[ 3]: “I was hurried” means someone made me hurry up. I think you meant to write “I had to hurry” or “I was in a hurry” instead.
