What is the difference in meaning between these following sentences:
1. Love means never having to say you're sorry.
2. Love means never have to say you're sorry.

#2 is ungrammatical, so you can't compare them.

(#1 is grammatical but untrue.)


You can make #2 grammatical by adding a word:

Love means you never have to say you're sorry.
