Hello Teachers,

I was studying about the verb "make". There was given a list for the fixed expressions, used with "make" as "make a mistake", "make a noise", "make decision" e.t.c.

There was also "make a journey". I could not make any senetnce using the "make a journey".

I am not able to understand the meaning of "make a journey".

Could you please give me an example of "make a journey" and also its meaning.

Here's a googled page with many examples, H, roughly 36,400.

Hello JTT,

Don't make the journey alone?

What is meaning of this sentence? Is it don't travel alone?

Basically yes, but word choice often depends on the context. Your example might be used more where there is a warning of danger.
