Hi.

Just wondering what nuance do the following sentences have.

[1] I have made up my mind about going to the game.

[2] I have gotten my mind made up about going to the game.

Your help would be highly appreciated.

Best,

Hiro

.
[1] I have made up my mind about going to the game.-- This is the expected form.

[2] I have gotten my mind made up about going to the game.-- This is casual English and may mean either that the speaker made up his own mind or that someone with influence made up his mind for him.
