My only understanding of "pit bosses" is from the gambling casinos in Vegas. (Haven't been there in years.)

The pit bosses are in charge of the various gambling operations on the floor of the casino - the tables, roulette wheels, etc.
They make sure the dealers aren't cheating. Emotion: big smile

Thank you for finding this post, I've almost given up.

The author is from L.A so it has to be relating with your definition but I can't figure it out. I'll leave it for now and come back later.

Thanks again always,

It seems like "valet" should be plural, but I'm not sure what the correct plural is.

The only other "pit" I know locally is in the center of an oval auto racing track - where they make repairs and change tires, etc.
If they're all Mongols and Afgans, they must be working under cover.
yeah, we've never seen Mongols and Afghans in a racing track Emotion: big smile
