The menu at the top of the page is not working for me anymore. When I hover over Forums, Students, etc. nothing happens.
Is that a known issue or something on my end?

Thank you

It's at our end. I'm about to report it to the Wizards, but they are in Europe where it's night right now, so it may be a few hours before they get to it. If you click on the buttons on there (e.g. Home, Forums, etc.) a few times it may go back to working, at least when you are on the Home page or the Forums pages.
The underlying problem has been fixed, but you may need to clear your browser cache to get everything working properly again.

To clear your browser cache:
In Chrome, click on the "three dots" menu button under the X button at the top right of the page, go to settings, scroll down to the bottom and click on Show advanced settings, under Privacy click Clear browsing data and clear Cached images and files.
In Firefox, click on the "hot-dog" menu button as above, then Preferences>Advanced>Network>Cached Web Content.
In Edge, click on the "three dots" menu button as above, go to Settings>Clear browsing data.
In Internet Explorer, click on the cogwheel at the top right of the page, go to Internet options>General>Browsing history>Delete
In Opera, click on Menu at the top left, then Settings>Privacy and Security, under Privacy>Clear browsing data>Cached images and files.
In Vivaldi, click on the V at the top left, then Tools>Clear Private Data.
In Pale Moon, click on the "Pale Moon" button at the top left of the page, then Options>Options>Advanced>Network>Cached Web Content (yes, Options>Options).

The default time range to clear is usually "one hour". You may need to change this to, say, "one week".

It's happening again. I haven't been able to access the drop-down menus in the last couple of days.

Yes, you're right. I'll mention it to the Wizards.
Update: It seems that the problem only affects some users, not all, so the Wizards are finding it hard to track down the cause. They are busy working on some updates to the site that will be implemented soon, so they are going to see if the problem goes away when the updates come out, and if it doesn't they'll look at the problem some more.

OK. Thanks.
Mac users maybe?
I don't have a Mac to test it on, but I tried it using several different browsers in Windows and Linux, and the problem was there every time. Which operating system and browser are you using?
El Capitan 10.11.5 - Firefox
