I chose the letter D.

Hi tknjhall,

I did really well on the grammar test.

B is correct

USAGE NOTE Good is properly used as an adjective with linking verbs such as be, seem, or appear: The future looks good. The soup tastes good. It should not be used as an adverb with other verbs: The car runs well (not good). Thus, The dress fits well and looks good.

The witnesses gave their names and addresses to that attorney's secretary.

The first is plural, no possessive. (gave THEIR names) The second is singular and possessive. (to THAT attorney's SECRETARY)

You need to hunt for the clues.

C is correct.

Hope that helps.

Thanks again mountainhiker. TK
