Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to apply for the IAESTE Czech Republic traineeship in the Technical University of Ostrava.

Having looked at the description, I note that you are looking for a student who is highly familiar with the tasks associated with the role, and can perform them confidently. I am certain that I have the necessary skills to successfully perform those tasks and to exceed your expectations, as you look for someone who is familiar with working in the racing teams

Currently, I am a fourth-year student in the Mechanical Engineering department. I have been consistently at the top of my class of 50 students, with a GPA of 3.65 and grades of distinction and high distinction. I have had the privilege of working in several international racing teams such as Formula student, Shell Eco Marathon and ASME Human Powered vehicle Cairo university racing team in designs, analysis, fabrication and manufacturing, with both racing cars and bikes, and my major role has been designing the mechanical components such as the chassis structure, analyzing vehicle dynamics, analyzing the chassis structure using finite element analysis and testing it using various mechanical test

Finally, I would really express my appreciation of this training as it represents a great development opportunity in my career in the research field. I think so, but you might want to include a brief paragraph to show that you've read up on the academic institution/department you're hoping to study in.
