Motorways are very popular in many countries because of their convenience to travel comfortable and shorten the long distances. However, motorways also have negative aspects such as dangerous traffic and population. Indeed, they need to be improved. In this essay, the drawbacks of the motorways and some effective methods to overcome are analysed.
One major problem of motorways is that they can be dangerous. In many countries, the speed limits on motorways are very high. This means that any accidents are more likely to be serious and involve many vehicles. Sometimes in bad weather, several vehicles crash into each other leads to many dead or injured people. This problem could be solved by some possible methods. First of all, all drivers must have driving licenses and educate carefully how to drive safely on the freeways. In addition, special signs could be displayed when driving conditions are bad to make people drive more slowly and safely.
The other disadvantage of motorways is pollution. When travelling, many vehicles could produce many emissions to the environment. Moreover, noise pollution is also a big problem for the residents. However, governments could help to solve these problems by making the environmentally-friendly cars cheaper and putting up sound proof fences.
In conclusion, motorways are really necessary and useful in spite of the problems of them. With careful preparation and planning, the problems they caused could be reduced. People today are also more aware of environmental issues. As a result, cars and another means of transport are becoming more environmentally- friendly.

Motorways are very popular in many countries because of their convenience to travel comfortable (ungrammatical) and shorten the long distances. (How do you change the distance between London and Liverpool from 340 km to 290 km? Motorways do not shorten the distance at all. The distance is the same. ) However, motorways also have negative aspects such as dangerous traffic and population. (wrong word - Population is the number of people living in an area. ) but motorways can be improved by driver education, better road rules and safety measures. Indeed, they need to be improved. In this essay, the drawbacks of the motorways and some effective methods to overcome are analysed.

Never mention your essay. The examiner knows you are writing an essay. They also know the topic. Instead, write a thesis statement to tell the examiner your main point. See my added text.

One major problem of motorways is that they can be dangerous. In many countries, the speed limits on motorways are very high. This means that any accidents are more likely to be serious and involve many vehicles. Sometimes in bad weather, several vehicles crash into each other leads (ungrammatical sentence structure. The main verb is "crash" You cannot have another verb "leads". ) to many dead or injured people. This problem could be solved in two ways. by some possible methods. (You give two, so write "two") First of all, all drivers must have driving licenses and educate (wrong verb form. You write "Drivers educate ... " who do they educate?) carefully how to drive safely on the freeways. In addition, special signs could be displayed when driving conditions are bad to make people drive more slowly and safely.
The other disadvantage of motorways is pollution. When travelling, many vehicles could produce many emissions (emissions is non-count) to the environment. Moreover, noise pollution is also a big problem for the residents. However, governments could help to solve these problems by making fuel-efficient the environmentally-friendly cars cheaper and putting up sound proof fences.
In conclusion, motorways are really necessary and useful in spite of the their problems of them. (Do not use of + pronoun. Use the possessive form of the pronoun.) With careful preparation and planning, these problems they caused could be reduced. People today are also more aware of environmental issues. As a result, cars and another means of transport are becoming more environmentally- friendly. (That is slightly off-topic. You did not mention people's awareness in the body paragraph. Do not write new ideas in the conclusion.)
