I have an interview in an bpo .i dont know how to introduce my self.please help me out
What is a bpo?
Teachers: We supply a list of EFL job vacancies
BPO stands for Buisness Process Outsourcing. It is a subset of outsourcing that involves the contracting of the operations and responsibilities of specific business functions (or processes) to a third-party service provider. Originally, this was associated with manufacturing firms, such as Coca Cola that outsourced large segments of its supply chain.[1]
BPO is typically categorized into back office outsourcing - which includes internal business functions such as human resources or finance and accounting, and front office outsourcing - which includes customer-related services such as contact centre services.
BPO that is contracted outside a company's country is called offshore outsourcing. BPO that is contracted to a company's neighboring (or nearby) country is called nearshore outsourcing.
Often the business processes are information technology-based, and are referred to as ITES-BPO, where ITES stands for Information Technology Enabled Service.[2] Knowledge process outsourcing (KPO) and legal process outsourcing (LPO) are some of the sub-segments of business process outsourcing industry.
Hi,

Well, what do you want to tell them in your introduction? What kind of information is it customary to give?

Clive
Hi,

Note that different countries have different customs in interviews.
.
This seems to be the custom in India.
It's not the custom in eg Canada.

Students: We have free audio pronunciation exercises.
For all those who are preparing for the interview,

Always keep a smile in your face which will give you confidence. If you are weak in English don't worry. Just use simple sentences. In most of the interview they prefer simple English. And about the grammar-
Just analyse when you are speaking your regional language do you speak in the correct way, no i thing we won't focus that much to grammar. So just speak, everything will come automatically. Don't forget to take a deep breath before entering the hall.

What do you want to tell them about yourself?
I didn't read the whole thread, but would like to give an advice - try to learn about the company as much as possible.
Interviewers like when interviewees do their homework and are prepared to answer questions regarding the company they are trying to get a job in.

Be prepared not only to talk about your educational and family background, but also to answer such questions as "Why do you want to work at our company?" "Why should we hire you?" "What are your advantages and disadvantages?" Make sure you don't start saying that you are lazy or not dilligent enough when talking about your disadvantages.Emotion: smile
Students: Are you brave enough to let our tutors analyse your pronunciation?
