Hello,

Today's afternoon, my boss just stopped by my office and asked about my thoughts about the project (he emailed me earlier, I just did not notice it). So I answered "I have not read your email yet".

I am not sure whether it is native?

thanks,

Hi,

That's fine.
Commonly the short form 'I haven't read . . . '

Thanks Clive.
I appreciate your reply. It is very helpful.
it's plenty native so say that, although people usually use contractions and pronouns and say "I haven't read it yet"
