Hello,

Could you tell me please if these sentences sound natural in English?

He settled a score with his life.

He squared accounts with his life.

How are the neighbors who live on one and the same floor referred to? Is it possible to say;

We were one floor neighbors?

Thanks

Could you tell me please if these sentences sound natural in English?-- Are they supposed to mean that he died to pay someone back? That's what they seem to say in an odd way.

How are the neighbors who live on one and the same floor referred to? Is it possible to say;
We were one floor neighbors?-- No. 'We are nextdoor neighbors', perhaps. In an apartment buildng that would be understood, though it usually refers to adjacent houses.

Hello,

I meant to say that he was tired of his type of lifestyle and decided to commit suicide. So can I use these two sentences or not?

I found this sentence on the Net; I haven't heard back from the neighbor one floor me yet. That's why I decided to ask about if this sentence is correct.

Thanks
...He was tired of his type of lifestyle and decided to commit suicide. So can I use these two sentences or not?-- No, that is not what they suggest, as I have already said. 'Style' = 'type', so I would just use "He was tired of his lifestyle and decided to kill himself."
Thank you.
