This research explores the effects of the concordancer on ESL learners' productive vocabulary knowledge. In his experiment, the errors in Korean undergraduate students' writing were statistically compared. The results indicate that the concordancer is an effective vocabulary reference and learning tool, and it is more effective in improving grammar knowledge of vocabulary.

This study aims to design a corpus-based syllabus for teaching certain lexical patterns including 'the thing is that', 'the fact is that', and 'the trouble is that' in line with consciousness-raising and data-driven learning. On the basis of providing an effective input to learning vocabulary and grammar, this paper chooses UKSPOK corpus. The syllable will be helpful to increase learners' strategic competence in English for specific purposes.

I'm not sure about the "improving grammar knowledge of vocabulary." I have always seen grammar and vocabulary as different areas. You can have a vocabulary without grammar (e.g. I know a few words in maybe a dozen languages, but I don't know any grammar in those languages). Does the concordancer work with grammar, or just building vocabulary? That is the only part that is unclear to me.

It seems ok to me. I assume you mean "syllabus' and not "syllable" in the last sentence.

I guess 'grammar knowledge of vocabulary' is like this:

When you make noun, put 'tion' or 'ness' at the end of the vocabulary.

Does it makes sence to you?

So I'd better write 'grammatical knowledge of vocabulary'.

Ok, that sounds better to me, which would suggest that someone knows how to use various words in grammatically correct ways.
