Where I come from, both words are considered vulgar. A mature adultwould not use either word in polite company. Don Kansas City

I thought everything was up to date where you come from..r

Up to date? Just what dazzling cosmopolitan mecca do you come from, you supercilious clod? Are you too young or too coarse to adhere to the mores of common decency?

Suggestion to Donna for a new FAQ entry:
"When R H Draney says something that appears to make no sense at all, chances are it's a reference to a song lyric"..r

I think this is wonderful. After we free the public airwaves of "pee" we can take on "dang" and "heck." Pretty soon we won't even be able to say "the eff word"; it'll have to be "the you-know-what-letter word." In ten years everyone will be so cowed that all but the pay cable networks will have ceased broadcasting.

I doubt that this would be viewed as progress even in Kansas City. But who knows?

Obviously, Don is not into Broadway musicals. Or very young.

Ah, I see. Sorry for the curt reply. A song about Kansas City circa 130 years ago or so, I see.
You should visit our fair city sometime. The only people wearing cowboy hats around here are the ones visiting from Texas. ;-)
