KAROSHI
This is a frequently heard Japanese word meaning 'death
from overwork', literally 'overwork death'.
Does 'overwork death' work or is there any other term
for that?

Thank you.

We don't have a tidy term for this but we do say that someone/thing 'has been worked to death'.

Hi guys,

Or you might say 'I'm worried about Tom, he's working himself to death'. This is usually not meant literally.

Best wishes, Clive
