Hello averyone,
My question is about a particular usage of A/AN, this is when it comes to a company that belongs to another company or group.
For example, let's say that a company called 'Lexter' belong to a group called 'LCI Group', so what's correct:

a) Lexter, an LCI Group company
b) Lexter, a LCI Group company

Thank you very much!

Regards.

The usage has nothing to do with companies or any other context. It depends solely on the beginning sound of the next word or utterance. Here, LCI is pronounced /el si ai/, so the first sound is a vowel sound, hence: an LCI.
