Topic:

People succeed because of their hard work; luck has nothing to do with success.

Do you agree or disagree with this statement?

Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.

Write at least 250 words.

My essay:

“Succeed is always a journey, but not a destination.” There is a debate whether one’s success depends on luck or not. This is a controversy issue. Personally, I agree with the rubric that one will achieve the feat by virtue of dedication as well as the blessing of our Almighty.

When mentioning to success, one cannot deny the ability to devote our time and energy to work will play a vital role in it. To be more specific, if a student wants to gain a high score in the final exam, he/she must be willing to dedicate all his/her time and energy to study.

Now I would like to put emphasis to luck, I believe that luck is also a mandatory thing if one wants to climb new summits. This is due to the fact that nothing is more powerful than our Gods, they will determine whether will we succeed or not. Even at the school, sometimes kids are getting their marks by luck because of teachers’ mistakes.

After analysing both sides of the problem, I have to conclude that despite being hardworking is an essential factor to become more successful, luck also influences the results of our workings. But I believe that is is more important to keep working hard rather than simply waiting for luck to approach us.

You wrote 222 words. The minimum is 250, so you will lose points for not writing enough.
You need to give some personal experience. Have you ever been really lucky? What happened? Was it simply by chance, or can you rely on this luck to repeat over and over?

Succeed (Succeed is a verb, not a noun.) is always a journey, but not a destination.” There is a debate i(No, there is no debate. Your task is to give your opinion on this subject. ) whether one’s success depends on luck or not. This is a controversy issue. (You have memorized this response. You will not impress the examiner with memorized responses.) Personally, I agree with the rubric that one will achieve the feat (wrong word) by virtue of dedication as well as the blessing of our Almighty. (Your answer is not clear. Do you think that luck or divine intervention leads to success, or is it only your own efforts?)

When mentioning to (wrong word) success, one cannot deny that devoting the ability to devote our time and energy to work will play a vital role in achieving it. (That is not a grammatical sentence.) To be more specific, if a student wants to gain a high score in the final exam, they he/she (He/she is incorrect.) must be willing to dedicate all his/her their time and energy to studying.

Now I would like to put emphasis to luck, I believe that (Do not write your opinions in the body paragraphs. Opinions are put in the first paragraph. Arguments supporting your opinion are in the body paragraphs. Be sure to use good transition phrases.) However, luck is also a mandatory thing if one wants to climb new summits. This is due to the fact that nothing is more powerful than our Gods, (comma splice error) they will determine whether will we succeed or not. Even at the school, sometimes kids are getting high their marks by luck because of teachers’ mistakes.

After analysing both sides of the problem, I have to conclude that despite being hardworking is an essential factor (ungrammatical) to become more successful, luck also influences the results of our workings. (Unnatural) But I believe that is is more important to keep working hard rather than simply waiting for luck to approach us.

Many people are successful in their lives and there are many reasons for their success. Success is because of hard work? Luck has nothing to do with success? In this essay I will discuss these statements. In my opinion people are usually successful because they have worked hard but they have always had at least a little bit of luck on the way to their success.

Luck plays an important role in success as we know that all those who work hard are not successful. What then is the difference between those hard workers who are successful and those who are not, luck! Luck comes in many forms and is often beyond our control, being in the right place to meet the right person or having the right skills to get a job done

It is generally accepted though that luck will not keep a person successful in the long term and that hard work is what makes the difference. For example you may be lucky enough to win some money you have to work hard to keep it. People who work hard perhaps create their own luck so the two are closely linked.

In conclusion clearly hard work and luck play an important part in a persons success whilst luck puts you in the right place at the right time hard work is what makes the difference.
