" You have everything planned out, haven't you?" is it the same as " You have everthing sorted out, haven't you?
Sorted would sometimes mean 'completed'
...I think the phrase "sorted out" often connotes that you are fixing something that is currently messed up.

As in, "I am having a serious disagreement with my neighbor but I hope to have it sorted out soon."

In this way, I think "sorted out" does not just mean completed but brought to a positive resolution.

If someone says, "you need to get your life sorted out" they are implying that your personal affairs are not currently in order.
