"Some people believe that hobbies need to be difficult to be enjoyable"

In this contemporary day, avocation has been increasingly becoming a major concern of society. There are individuals who have different conceptualization about the difficulty levels of pastimes. Nevertheless, from my perspective, I consummately make a stand against the statement that, to be more delightful, hobbies need to be more onerous.

Firstly, difficult hobbies may be intricate and time-intensive because people need to devote a colossal amount of time to them. To elaborate, if the hobbies require specific implements, such as acquiring luxurious cars, the people who are impoverished must spend time and lots of money on buying these vehicles. This will be a bar to their dream of becoming affluent. Secondly, all pastime are made of elements including pleasure. Some individuals spend most of life working to fulfil their aspirations; hence arduous hobbies needing time, effort and motivation may not be appropriate and enjoyable, even detrimental to them who have immensely little spare time.

On the other hand, usual and simple preferences would be more delightful and wholesome for the long haul due to their suitable demands. Accordingly, individuals can unwind from the stresses of the workweek any time through malleable hobbies, and in turn a more productive week of hard work. A research from Quan newspaper, which perfectly exemplifies this situation, shows that a majority of happiness and high productivity partly come from undertaking uncomplicated and therapeutic pastimes, instead of problematic ones.

To conclude, regardless of some therapeutic but arduous hobbies which are only appropriate for particular individuals, I am not in accord with the view that enjoyable pastimes need difficulty.
