Fish and meat consumption
The graph gives information of the consumption of products namely: chicken, beef, lamb and fish during a period of 25 years from 1979 to 2004 in an European country.
Overall, despite the decrease in consumption of beef, lamb and fish, more people consume chicken throughout 25 years.
Since 1979, fish has not been a wide-raging product and it was consumed nearly 60 grams per week. During the period of 25 years, the consumption of fish fluctuated and it even dropped to under 50 grams was eaten by one person per week. The consumption of chicken, however, rose significantly since 1979. Beginning with only less than 150 grams of chicken was eaten per week by one person, it ended with approximately 250 grams consumed per person per week.
The consumption of beef and lamb both decreased. The consumption of beef used to be the most of all other kinds of meat in the graph in the period of nearly 7 years since 1979. However, the amount of consumption of beef went down and in 2004, a person ate nearly 130 grams of beef per week. Since 1979, people consumed less lamb. In 1979, 150 grams of lamb was consumed by one person per week. However, in 2004, approximately 70 grams was consumed on one week by one person.
