THE TOPIC: Schools should not force children to learn a foreign language. To what
extent do you agree with this statement?

MY ESSAY:

Because international integration has been promoted in recent decades, some people believe that students have to study a foreign language in schools. In my opinion, I think they should not be forced to do so.

There are many benefits of learning another language in our life if they are encouraged properly during their school years. First, knowing more than two languages not only help learners in communication with foreigners but also improve adaptability and problem-solving skill. For example, for international students, who really need to blend into the strange culture and new environment, language will play an essential role in fostering this process. Second, with good language skills, they can access information in another language, which is not available in their country. Nowadays, almost all newspapers and articles are written in global languages such as France or English. If students are proficient in English, they can assimilate knowledge proactively, especially not wasting time using dictionaries.

However, forcing students to learn what they do not interested in will need to take into consideration. To encourage students to learn by heart, refining the way schoolchildren approach language is necessary. Teachers should adopt unique and fun lectures in classes. The less stressful lessons, the more learners absorb in language and learn effectively. Besides, schools also should run some competitions and talk shows between students to wake up their competence as well as proper awareness of foreign language. In VietNam, youngsters will have a wider career only with the ability to speak English or English certificates.

In conclusion, I think if we have efficient methods, students will love learning English automatically without forcing or punishment.

THE TOPIC: Schools should not force children to learn a foreign language. To what
extent do you agree with this statement?

MY ESSAY:

It is true that some people argue that a foreign language should be a compulsory subject in schools. Even though I believe that it is worthwhile for schoolchildren to learn, I still think they should not be forced to do so.

There are many benefits of learning another language if students are encouraged properly during their school years. First, knowing more than two languages not only helps learners in communication with foreigners but also improves their adaptability and problem-solving skills in certain situations. For example, for international students, who really need to blend into different cultures and new environments, language plays an essential role in accelerating this process. Second, with good language skills, they can access information in another language easier, which is not available in their country. Nowadays, almost all newspapers and articles are written in global languages such as France or English. If students are proficient in English, they can assimilate knowledge proactively, especially not wasting time using dictionaries.

However, forcing students to learn what they do not interested in needs to take into consideration. To encourage students to learn by heart, refining the way schoolchildren approach language is necessary. Teachers should adopt unique and fun lectures in classes. The less stressful lessons, the more learners absorb in language and learn effectively. Besides, schools also should run some competitions and talk shows among students to wake up their competence as well as raise awareness of foreign language. In VietNam, youngsters will have a wider career only with the ability to speak English or English certificates.

In conclusion, I think that if we have efficient methods, students will love learning a foreign language automatically without forcing or punishment.

Because international integration (Do you mean globalization? International integration does not make sense.) has been promoted in recent decades, some people believe that students have to study a foreign language in schools. In my opinion, I think they should not be forced to do so.

The essay prompt is " To what extent do you agree with this statement?" You did not answer the question. You must answer with an adverb of extent. Do you know these adverbs?

There are many benefits of learning another language in our life if they (Who? There is no antecedent noun.) are encouraged properly during their (Whose? There is no antecedent noun.) school years. First, knowing more than two languages not only help (wrong form) learners in communication with foreigners but also improve adaptability and problem-solving skill.(wrong form) For example, for international students, who really need to blend into the (wrong form) strange culture (Most cultures are not strange to those who have them.) and new environment, language will play an essential role in fostering this process. Second, with good language skills, they can access information in another language, (no comma) which is not available in their country. Nowadays, almost all newspapers and articles are written in global languages such as France (wrong word - France is a country. It is not a language.) or English. If students are proficient in English, they can assimilate knowledge quickly because they do not waste proactively, especially not wasting time using dictionaries.

However, forcing students to learn what they do (wrong word) not interested in will need to take (wrong form) into consideration. To encourage students to learn by heart, refining the way schoolchildren approach language is necessary. Teachers should adopt unique and fun learning techniques / exercises lectures in classes. The less stressful the lessons, the more the learners absorb the in language and learn effectively. Besides, schools also should run some competitions and talk shows between students to wake up (wrong word) their competence as well as proper awareness of the foreign language being taught. In VietNam, youngsters (wrong word) young people will have a wider career only with the ability to speak English or (We do not speak certificates.) English certificates.

In conclusion, I think if we have efficient methods, students will love learning English automatically without having to resort to force forcing or punishment.

thank you so much!!
