The graph illustrates the proportion of visitors to various destinations in England between 1980 and 2010.

Overall, it is clear that there was an upward trend in the percentage of tourists visiting the Pier and the Pavilion, as opposed to the data of the other attractions. In addition, the Pavilion was the most popular attraction from 1980 onwards, with the figure peaking in 1995.

In 1980, only 10% of tourists to England went to the Pier. Despite some minor fluctuations, this figure quickly climbed from 12% to 22% in 2010. Meanwhile, nearly a quarter of total tourists to England visited the Pavilion in the first year of the period before this destination gained popularity with the highest figure at 50% in 1995. Nevertheless, then there was a significant fall to 30% in the proportion of visitors to the Pavilion in 2010.

30% visitors to England went to the Festival in 1980. Then this data descended slightly to 25% in 1995 before increasing to hit a plateau at roughly 28% from 2000 to 2010. Meanwhile, the percentage of the Art Gallery visitors made up 22% of the total tourists in 1980. Then this hit a peak at 37% in 1987 before witnessing a sharp decline to 20% in 1990 and decreased dramatically to 10% at the end of the period.
