Hi all,

Is there any problem with the following sentence? Any way to make it better?

Since the VOIP equipments, like the end user phone, are all compatible with the current internet, many advanced communication applications that are not found before becomes possible.

Thanks

Since the VOIP equipments, similarly to the end-user phone, are all compatible
with the current Internet, many advanced communication applications, previously unfeasible, have become possible.
Hi,

'Equipment' is uncountable so don't speak of 'equipments'.

'The current internet' is a correct but uncommon phrase. It makes the reader start to think a bit about how the future internet might differ from the current internet.

What is 'an end-user phone'? Isn't every phone, whether land-line or cellular, a phone used by 'end-users'?

Best wishes, Clive

Thank you very much for your reply. I cannot use English to express precisely. The following is an extraction from my written English. Can someone point out the places that need to be improved?

VOIP is also called broadband phone. It routes the phone call through internet.
It is one of the major evolution of IT industry in the next 5 years.
Since the VOIP equipment, (I mean for example here) like the phone on our desk, is compatible with the current internet, many advanced communication applications, previously unfeasible (why not unfeasible before?), have become possible. One of the features implemented in many corporates is the inter-operation between the voice mail and
the email. When someone leaves you a voice mail, the system will send that voice mail to your email account. You can play that voice mail by your PC.

Then you can listen to the voice mail on your PC.

Can we use the "Then" as the first word of a sentence?

Thanks
