-I just wanted to remind you about the question I had in class yesterday. At the November reception, we would like to invite businesses who are looking for a place to located, expand, and even people who has the authority to make business expansion decision. I have to finish the invite list by the end of this week with 200 invitiees. I look forwarding to hearing from you and thank you very much for your help.

Hi,

Welcome to the Forum. I'd say this.

We would like to invite to the November reception businesses which are looking for a place to locate and expand, and people who have the authority to make decisions about this. I have to finish the invitation list for 200 people by the end of this week. I look forwarding to hearing from you and thank you very much for your help.

Best wishes, Clive

I think that "invite list" is rather slangy. I would advocate "invitation list."

While in California, Raymond also managed to squeeze in a visit toVA Research, a Santa Clara-based company selling workstations with the GNU/Linux operating system preinstalled. Convened by Raymond, the meeting was small. The invite list included VA founder LarryAugustin, a few VA employees, and ChristinePeterson, president of theForesight Institute, a Silicon Valley think tank specializing in nanotechnology.
