Do you agree or disagree with the statement that the government should invest more money in science education rather than other subjects to develop the country?
It is suggested that government funding should be provided for science-related subjects which would be useful for the development of society. In my opinion, every subject at school is an integral part of a curriculum and therefore they deserve equal investment and funding.
It is undeniable that science education can be the major driver of economic growth. For many years, scientific breakthroughs and innovations have had a great influence on the production of goods, allowing for greater productivity and efficiency. For example, automated machines have replaced human labor in manufacturing large quantities of products such as food, clothes and other daily necessities. In addition, investment in medicine is also crucial for the creation of new treatments for a variety of diseases such as flu and cancer, which can help people to stay healthy and live longer.
However, I would argue that various other school subjects such as history and language are just as essential as science. It is fundamental that students learn about the history of their country so that they can draw on past experiences and knowledge that can help modern society move forward. Languages also play a key role in any effective education system. For example, being fluent in more than just one language will open new opportunities for Vietnamese students to study abroad in developed nations such as America and Britain and then contribute what they have learned to their home country’s economy
In conclusion, science education is obviously one of the main measures of progress for a country, but other school disciplines are just equally significant
