Hello! I recently visited the Hard Rock Cafe, and I heard this song playing there and saw some of the music video...and now I can't find the song anywhere!! Emotion: sad I will write down everything I remember, and I really hope someone can help me find this song.

In the music video, this guy is walking through the streets at night, and a little store display with Hawaiiian mannequins in it passes in front of him. The mannequins are in love, but the guy is still alone. He also passes a man in a tux dancing with a woman in a sparkling dress, but still the guy is alone.

The lyrics that I remember are something like:

"I'm better off alone"

- or possibly -

"I'm better on my own."

And part of the chorus goes,

"Wrote down all the words that I know."

But that's all I can remember!! xD So if you know the name of this song, please tell me - you'd be doing me a great favour!

Yes, I know the song you're talking about, the band is called SUM 41, and the song is Pieces.

The lyrics are:

Pieces

I tried to be perfect
But nothing was worth it
I don't believe it makes me real
I thought it'd be easy
But no one believes me
I meant all the things I said

If you believe it's in my soul
I'd say all the words that I know
Just to see if it would show
That I'm trying to let you know
That I'm better off on my own

This place is so empty
My thoughts are so tempting
I don't know how it got so bad
Sometimes it's so crazy
That nothing can save me
But it's the only thing that I have

If you believe it's in my soul
I'd say all the words that I know
Just to see if it would show
That I'm trying to let you know
That I'm better off on my own

On my own

I tried to be perfect
It just wasn't worth it
Nothing could ever be so wrong
It's hard to believe me
It never gets easy
I guess I knew that all along

If you believe it's in my soul
I'd say all the words that I know
Just to see if it would show
That I'm trying to let you know
That I'm better off on my own

Good luck
