The bar chart illustrated the proportion of daily internet usage in the UK divided by age groups between 2003 and 2006.

There were above 80% of people in the age of 16 - 24 using the internet and also the highest figure shown on this bar chart, which was seen in the year of 2005, at about 100%, but in the next year, it fell by 10%. The pattern of daily internet usage was similar in both 25 - 44 and 45 - 54 years old, with a steady increase, from approximately 50% and 60%, in turn, to 80%, by the end of 2006.
Compared to their younger groups, there was less internet users percentage among those who were over 55 years old. The people using the internet at the ages of 55 and 64, the rate fluctuated between 30 and 35, except in 2006, it reached half. The least internet users were the 65 and over age group with a slight increase from 18% to 20% between 2004 to 2006 and not using in 2003.
