Some people think it is better for children to grown up in the city, while others think that life in the countryside is more suitable for them. What are the advantages and disadvantages of both places?

My essay:

Some people argue that growing up in city is better than in the countryside for children, while some others have an opposite view. Both perspectives have their own benefits and drawbacks.

On the one hand, living in the city plays an vital role on development of children. The city which focuses a lot of the top schools with highly skilled teachers and full-equipped facilities, so they offer better education for children. Particularly, the schools provide foreign classes with native teachers so that their students could develop language skills in the best way, and they also provide laboratory for students to make chemical or physical experiments, which enhances the children’s knowledge completely. However, city has less free space for children to take part in outside activities which are the reasons for the increase of the rate of children’s obesity. Beside, city has a high volume of vehicles that whose fumes cause air pollutions, which has a detrimental impact on people’s health, especially children who have a weak respiratory system.

On the other hand, living in the countryside is better for children development. Countryside is a place that is quiet, peaceful, and more space land for children to involving in outside activities like camping, hiking, flying skies, which make a contribution to develop their physical health. Regardless of their benefits, living in the countryside make them have less opportunities to access good education because it has less investment, so there is not money to improve school facilities and hire excellent teachers. Besides, it often has poor quality of health center, so if they are in case that need urgent treatment, they have to move to hospital in the city.

In conclusion, both living in a city or countryside have their own advantages and disadvantages, so depending on people’s preferences and objectives to consider where is better place for children mature.
