Topic: The graphs below show the opening and closure and the types of magazines that opened in Southern Europe between 1995-2015. Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

My essay:

The bar chart depicts how many Southern Europe magazines were either opened or closed while the accompanying pie chart compares five different kinds of magazines in terms of the proportion for opening during the period from 1995 to 2015.

Overall, there was an inversely contrasting trend in terms of the number of opened and closed magazines. Additionally, entertainment and TV was by far the most common gerne of magazine, followed by music ones.

During the first stage of period from 1995 to 2005, there was a high number of opening magazines, reaching the highest point at 400 in 2000 while that for closure of magazines was significantly lower, at the bottom, only less than 50. However, there was a major decrease for the former, with a further 100 falling from 370 in 2005 to 240 in 2010 and the lowest point, 180 in 2015. The number of magazine closing had a significant rise, eight times as high as its 2005 level, with around 400 magazines.

Moreover, Business, Finance, Politics and other (9% and 5% relatively) types of magazines were least interested, on the other hand, Entertainment and TV-related magazines (35%)were the most interesting type in Southern Europe.

Thank you for your help.
