Topic: The table below gives information on the proportion of carbohydrates, protein and fat in three different diets.

My essay:

The pie charts compares the percentages of carbohydrates, protein and fat in three types of dies, namely an average diet, a healthy diet and a healthy diet for sport.

It is clear that all the three diets mainly consist of cabohydrates. By contrast, fat is the compound making up the least amount of the three diets shown.

Of the three diets, the healthy diet for sport contains the highest proportion of carbohydrates, accounting for 60% of the total, compared to 50% and 40% for the healthy diet and the average diet. However, a diet for those playing sport has the lowest percentage of protein, with only 25%. The figures for this compound in the average diet and the healthy diet are 40% and 30% respectively.

People who follow the average diet and the healthy diet consume the same amount of fat, making up a fifth of the total proportion. On the other hand, sportspeople require a diet comprising a minimum proportion of fat, less than 5% compared to other two diets.
