The two maps illustrate the changes of a museum and its surroundings between 1990 and 2010.
Overall, it is clear that the size of the museum was extended, while that of the car park and the garden next to it were reduced. In addition, there were also several changes inside the museum.
Looking at the diagrams more closely, one can see that the museum in 2010 was bigger than in 20 years ago. To the southwest of the map, the cottage was displaced by a new cáfe. The small shop inside the museum was doubled in size after the twenty-year period. Besides, both the store room and the room next to it were expanded, much more spacious than in 1990. Meanwhile, to the southeast of the diagram, the garden was eliminated and replaced with the car park. However, the total area was clearly reduced in size. To the north outside the museum, the garden still remained unchanged.

Really? I don't see that. In fact if anything, I see something opposite to that! To be honest with you, that diagram is highly unrealistic. It shows a tiny "exhibition room" initially, which later disappears totally. That means there is no museum in the second part! Also, why would a museum have a cottage taking up a large part of its area?!
I strongly suggest you stay well away from "Group Pass IELTS". They are clearly not reliable.

I got the test from a website on the Internet. It said that the test was the real test on 26th March in Vietnam. Maybe it is unreliable as you have said.
