My essay:
Obese children are gaining popularity. Some people stick to that the government should take responsibility of this phenomenon while others are of the belief that children themselves and their environments are the reason. I partly advocate the former for following rationales.
On one hand, unrestricted government's law exerts indirectly negative impacts on children's health. Firstly, the development of marketing industry leads to the tendency that many food corporations popularize their unhealthy products in social platforms. Without telling the bad effects of eating fast food, for example, many people, especially children, tend to consume these products many times a month, even several times a week. As a result, children's health is deteriorated day by day. Secondly, the lack of government's organization of children's activities is also the common reason for the significant rise in the number of obese children. My sister is a telling example. Thanks to participating in a local summer camp in her summer holiday, not only could she take part in health - nurturing sports but she also learnt how to protect her health.
On the other hand, children themselves and their living environments also occupy an significant part of the rise of obesity. First of all, many children nowadays are living in a convenient environment, contrary to the bad living conditions in the past. If the food children eat is not controlled, they are vulnerable to gain weight. In addition, the exercise is not concentrated in many regions. For instance, Asian children have to go to extra - classes after school; therefore, hardly do they have time to enjoy themselves or do exercise regularly. This leads to weak health systems and the ability of getting fat in Asian children, compared to those who live in other regions.
To summarize, the rate of children getting fat is the causes of ineffective and unrestricted governmental laws and their living environments.
