2: The use of social media is replacing face-to-face interaction among many
people in society. Do you think the advantages outweigh the disadvantages?
My answer:
The social platform is now developing stronger than ever, which bring along significant changes to the way people communicate with each other. While it might be disadvantageous, I hold the belief that using social media does more good than harm.
Overusing social media might have certain drawbacks. Firstly, many online expert con artists have plenty of subtle tricks in order to make a profit from users, which could be the user's account, property, and even their lives without getting caught red-handed. Secondly, there are many people have to suffer from cyberbullying, in which the culprits attack the victims on social platforms such as Twitter, Facebook or so. This can be futile at first, but over time, the wound in the victim's mental health might be unable to be treated. Later, it can cause depression, disorder, and even suicide.
Despite the demerits, however, social applications have myriad benefits. First and foremost, it creates the chance of meeting or communicating with people around the world. With half of the world's population using social media, we hardly not find any opportunities to make friends with strangers. In addition to that, many applications such as Zoom, Skype, or Google Meet help people reduce time going to work. For instance, people in the past have to meet others in person to announce something, or at least, for a casual talk. Nowadays, people only need to stay at their pace and throw a meeting online, whether it is a normal video call or an important conference. Not only does it so time-saving because people do not have to commute to work, but it also saves a little money since the transport that people use is not required to be pumped fuel in.
In conclusion, while making use of social platforms has certain downsides, I am more inclined to the view that social media is extremely beneficial to both individuals and society.

You did not respond correctly to the task. You will lose a lot of points for task response. You did not read the task carefully, so you did not understand the question. Your entire essay was not on the subject of this task.
The task did not ask: "Is using social media beneficial or harmful?"
It asked "Is the replacement of face-to-face interactions with virtual interactions more beneficial (or harmful) for society?
You never mentioned the disadvantage of spending less time with friends.
The social platform is now developing stronger than ever, (That is not good English) which bring (wrong verb form) along significant changes to the way people communicate with each other. While it might be disadvantageous, I hold the belief that using social media does more good than harm. (That does not answer the question. )
Overusing social media might have certain drawbacks. Firstly, First, many online expert con artists have plenty of subtle tricks in order to make a profit from users, which could be the user's account, property, and even their lives without getting caught red-handed. Secondly, [ Second, there are many people ] (ungrammatical sentence. There is no subject for the verb "have to" You cannot use a main clause - in blue brackets - as a subject. ) [ have to suffer from cyberbullying, in which the culprits attack the victims on social platforms such as Twitter and Facebook or so. ] This can be futile (wrong word) at first, but over time, the wound in the victim's mental health might be unable to be treated. Later, it can cause depression, disorder, and even suicide. (The point in this paragraph do not answer the prompt. It is about social media replacing getting together and hanging out with friends an family. It is not about the problems with social media itself.)
Despite the demerits, (wrong word. Demierit is a very rare word, It is NOT a synonym of "disadvantage" It is only for very special contexts. Personally, I never use it. ) however, social applications (wrong phrase.) have myriad (not good usage. Myriad is a noun not an adjective. It is very uncommon, and used in figurative contexts.) benefits. First and foremost, it creates the chance of meeting or communicating with people around the world. (You are off-topic) With half of the world's population using social media, we hardly not find (incorrect. ) any opportunities to make friends with strangers. (very bad English)
In conclusion, while making use of social platforms has certain downsides, I am more inclined to the view that social media is extremely beneficial to both individuals and society.
