Hi

Please give your views on my IELTS Task 1 essay.

The graph shows data on the manufacture of passenger cars in 2015. Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Dividing the world into seven regions, the pie chart gives each region’s percentage share in world passenger car production in 2015. The seven regions include Greater China, Japan and Korea, Middle East and Africa, Europe, South Asia, North America, and South America.

Greater China and Europe together dominated the world passenger car production in 2015. But the contribution of the countries in Middle East and South America was abysmally insignificant. The performance of South America pales in comparison with North America’s.

While seventy percent of the passengers cars produced in the world in 2015 were from Greater China, Europe and North America, the combined share of South Asia, Middle East and Africa, and South America was less than fifteen percent. Though Greater China’s percentage was higher than that of Japan and Korea, it was not a significant difference. Additionally, though South Asia produced less than ten percent of world’s passenger cars, its performance was twice as much as South America’s.

Thank you

Suresh
