Whatever, it was a silly thing for him to write, if he actually wrote it. I dislike Bush along with the best, but find there is no reason to twist facts or resort to hysterics to support my many reasons for the dislike.

But then, I've always enjoyed Pinter's work.

He might have amde a passable political cartoonist, but only if he drew them for the pro-Arab-anti-American press.

Do the pro-Arab-pro-Americans get much press, I wonder. Can a man be pro-Arab, particularly in regard to the Palestinian question, and not anti-Semitic at the same time? Some might say no.

I've never seen the work of one of those people.

While we have your attention, ... Brits and Americans to make the most of it

A recent survey indicated that the majority of Brits are in favour of Bush's visit. If there were no communication or visits between the leaders of these two states, you'd be complaining just as loudly. Or louder.

I don't believe I was complaining at all.

When did the Arabs stop being Semites?

Non-sequitur! "Anti-Semitic" never means "anti-Arab". And besides, the Arabs would hate to hear that it might.

I'm pro-American, but anti-America (where America abroad = American foreign policy). I'm also pro-Palestine, but I'm not anti-Semitic. How? Because I'm pro-Israeli but anti-Israel (where Israel = Israel's treatment of Palestine and Palestinians).
Simplistic, I know, but clear enough?

Yes, as clear as concrete and the smoke after a suicide bomber's terrorist attack.

Perhaps we aren't looking hard enough. We must be talking about many thousands, if not millions of people, and the literacy rate in America is fairly high. Surely, the probability that many of them are published writers is high. Not many of them appear to be in the US Congress, I'll grant you.

That would be rather difficult, but since I always figured she was my kind of woman, I'll assume her answer would be yes.
