I'm stuck on whether I should use a singular or plural noun after the possesive adjective "our." For example:

We love you with all our heart.
We love you with all our hearts.

Can someone tell me which is correct? Or can we say it both ways?

Thanks,

Tora

We do not normally use a singular noun after a plural possessive to mean 'one apiece'-- X 'we all brought our wife'. 'All my heart / all his heart / all our hearts' seems only logical as well.

That makes sense. I'll go with the plural noun. Thank you very much.
