Am I able to use 'now' with the present perfect continuous/progressive tense?

Example: Now I have been thinking of moving again because my apartment is too small.

Yes.

ajorgensen2022Now I have been thinking of moving again because my apartment is too small.

In this particular sentence 'recently' or 'lately' would sound better than 'now'.

Note the correction. You are asking about possibility, not ability.

Yes, it's possible, but as CJ has pointed out, not in the kind of sentence you wrote.

"Now" can be used as an interjection. For example:

"Now, I've been thinking. I need to move again, because my apartment is small".

CJ,

Would you be willing to give me a better example of the present continuous with now? (I suppose you mean 'present perfect continuous' because that's the topic of your original post.)

'now' with the present perfect (not continuous) is more common:

First seen in the 1920s, it has now spread throughout much of southern England.
The St. Louis region has now added 22,000 jobs since its low point in late 2009.
Now the Redskins have added two young backs who are coming off prolific careers.
With the award of the Cohen Prize he has now been rightly recognised in Britain.
In response to this, Mr Joyce has now locked out every pilot working for Qantas.

'now' together with the present perfect continuous is harder to find.

The airline has now been operating for many years but to be specific since 1995.
There have now been 26 woolhandling tests, New Zealand winning 20 and Australia 6.
My husband has been looking for work now for over 16 months, with no real success.
